Will be the new title of my project formerly known as “Timecapsule”

All the non Dutch speaking people will scratch behind their ears reading the new title. I will try to explain it. There is a really nice Dutch song, performed by an artist called Wim Zonneveld, who died in 1974. One of his biggest hits was a song called Het Dorp (the village), originally from Jean Ferrat (La Montagne). Its a song in wich he sings about all the changes that has happened in his hometown where he grew up. In the song are the phrases:

En langs het tuinpad van m’n vader
Zag ik de hoge bomen staan
Ik was een kind en wist niet beter
Dan dat ‘t nooit voorbij zou gaan

For Dutch people, that first sentence says enough, everybody will know that is the first phrase of that famous song and what that song is all about.

Triggered by an exhibition in Heerhugowaard (a town 10 km north of Alkmaar) with pictures of that village about a 100 years ago, i decided to brighten up the pictures used in that exhibition with my special “whatever you call it” editing. Here you see 4 pictures of houses, all situated in the Middenweg in Heerhugowaard, i hope you enjoy looking at the pictures.
